The project is co-published with MonkeyFactory Media Sàrl, a Swiss indie publishing label. Insomnia will also be showcased at Scream Fest 2025, joining an international selection of atmospheric horror titles.
About the Game Set within the frozen isolation of the Arctic, Insomnia invites players into a deeply atmospheric, story-driven horror experience. Inspired by Still Wakes the Deep, The Thing, and Amnesia, the game blends environmental storytelling, psychological tension, and survival-focused exploration.
There is no combat only the creeping dread of the unknown. Players unravel the mystery of Perseus Station, an arctic research facility slowly descending into madness, where whispers echo through the pipes and reality begins to fracture.
A Story of Fear, Isolation, and Guilt Ethan Miller, a young technician, begins his descent into the collapsing corridors of Perseus. What starts as a routine maintenance assignment becomes a nightmare of paranoia, betrayal, and grief. Ethan must uncover what really happened beneath the ice — and what still lurks in the dark.
Key Features Psychological Horror: A slow-burn descent into isolation and dread.
Environmental Storytelling: Discover the truth through notes, voices, and the decay around you.
Cinematic Atmosphere: Inspired by The Thing and Still Wakes the Deep.
No Combat – Only Survival: Hide, explore, and piece together what’s left of reality.
Episodic Vision: Chapter One marks the beginning of a larger narrative universe
From Ukraine to the World Created entirely by a solo developer from Ukraine, Insomnia is a passion project born out of years of personal and creative perseverance.
“I wanted to make a horror game that feels human,” says Anzor Lejava, creator of Insomnia. “The vision behind the project is to create a deeply atmospheric horror experience that focuses on immersion, narrative weight, and emotional connection with the protagonist’s personal story.”
The partnership with MonkeyFactory Media Sàrl brings support in marketing, production, and festival representation while preserving MelonPolygon’s independent creative vision.
Happy Gaming!
