I tried to install this game through the GOG Galaxy but it wouldn't install, so I tried the regular installer and it is asking me to choose between the following 2 and I don't know which one to choose and don't want to mess something else up. I tried just clicking cancel but I think that will cancel the install completely, which is absolutely preferable to messing something else up especially since I may never get around to playing this game. (I haven't played the first one yet so...)

Uninstall Microsoft Visual C++2008 from this computer

I would be uncomfortable with either repairing or uninstalling your Visual C++ Redistributable. To be honest, I'd suggest contacting GOG support for this one.

Thank you. I'll hit cancel and worry about it some time in the future if I get to wanting to play the game.

Edit: Hit cancel then it wanted to install the Visual C++ Redistributable (as if it wasn't already installed) and I hit cancel again. Then the game apparently finished installing (or so it told me that it was installed).

Both the first and second Monkey Island games are well worth your time. I hope you will get around to playing them at some point.
