The last I heard of Agatha Christie's Death on the Nile was Flotsam's review. That was about four pages ago. I recall that he wasn't very pleased with it , and probably wouldn't finish it. I've seen GoG prices hovering around $30US. Steam is still full retail at $39.99US. Still a little steep for a game I'm not sure of.

Has anyone actually played the game start to finish? If so what were your thoughts.

Let's wait and see if anyone here has played and finished this game. Flotsam actually gave us a "first look" rather than a full review. I don't think he has ever given a review to a game that he hadn't finished.

Of course, Steam has plenty of reviews to read also. wave

Of course you're right. However, I read vendor reviews with great caution. It's likely you won't see an "I wasted $35 when I bought this game." on Steam or Gog. I think I'm much more likely to find an honest review here.

Actually most of the reviews I have seen whether on Steam or on GOG don't hesitate to give their strong opinions for or against a particular game. But I understand why you feel the way that you do, and hopefully someone seeing this thread will comment upon it.

I know for a fact that those aren't necessarily vender reviews. A friend just released a game on Steam and is anxiously reading reviews from new purchasers. I've actually reas some pretty scathing reviews too.
