I can't find any evidence that Steam has carried the Carol Reed games.

It is my understanding that in the past a few games could be found in places like Steam and Big Fish, but Mikael does not sell his games anymore anywhere other than his own website. Selling his games directly from his own website has been much better for him for several different reasons.

Steam finally took down the two games that have been up there for years, without my approval, and without me ever getting a penny. So I thought that I’d give Steam a try, and published one game there myself a few months ago. I learnt a lot about Steam in the process, and found them very cooperative in the publishing process. However, I don’t think I will put up any more games there. So, as always, the next game will be sold exclusively from the MDNA site from January the 1st. (Only two days away, it’s time to get nervous ).

Mikael, I would probably re-purchase every one of your games if they were all on Steam. I like knowing they're all in one easy to find place. I have a LOT of trouble trying to save the games to a device of my own. I know you have always been available to help someone like me if there is a problem but...

Oldbroad, I totally get your point. But putting all the games up on Steam, and maintaining them there would simply be too much work for me, and introducing additional most unwelcome routines in my already busy schedule. Plus some other disadvantages. I do have full time real-life job as well. But I’d be happy to send you a free code to the only game I have on Steam.

Mikael, I know you "have a full time real-life job as well". I was just saying! I appreciated that offer but I do already have The Game Maker (one of my favorites) as well as every other one of your games. Not really sure at this time if any of the ones I believe I backed up are actually backed up though. I've never uninstalled any of them to try to find out. If I decide that having just the one game in my Steam library will help me feel better, I will purchase it. I have made a note on my games list that it's available there.

I bought and downloaded the game this morning. When I went to install it, I couldn't find it. Turns out it was in my Music folder, not in the Downloads folder, where everything goes by default. Odd, because I had not been in the Music folder for a while. Once I found it, all went well.

There is nothing like solving an unexpected problem in an adventure game, right?
