Yes, Big Fish Games is undergoing a transition to what in future will be called BFG Entertainment. My understanding is that pretty much all contracts have been terminated and that new contracts will be re-negotiated. What will ultimately happen with Friendly Fox and Grandma Studios is yet to be determined. So yes, I think the change on your credit card statement is another reflection of this transition. I should also note that these decisions in regards to some of the Big Fish game developers are being made by Big Fish's parent company, Aristocrat, and Big Fish should not be held responsible for them. I had thought of posting about this but was going to wait until certain things had been made more clear; right now things are in a state of flux. I will, however, copy and paste here a quote directly from BFG Entertainment that was posted on the Big Fish Fans Facebook page: Dear Big Fish Community,
As we wrap up an incredible 2025, we’ve been reflecting on the moments that defined our year. From the mysteries solved to the new worlds we explored together, thank you for making this a standout year for Big Fish Games.
While we take this time to celebrate with friends and family, our eyes are firmly fixed on the horizon. We’ve heard your feedback, and our resolution for the new year is simple: More of what you love, delivered with more value than ever before.
2026: The Year of the Player
We aren’t just releasing games in 2026; we are elevating the entire Big Fish experience. Here is a glimpse of what our teams are building for you:
Premium Content Cycles: We are streamlining our production to ensure a consistent, high-quality pipeline of your favorite hidden object and adventure franchises.
Enhanced Game Club Value: For our dedicated Members, 2026 will bring expanded rewards and more exclusive "First-Look" opportunities with our beta program. Your loyalty is the foundation of our success, and we’re committed to making the Game Club the best value in gaming.
Unrivaled Quality: We are investing more into the storytelling and technical polish of our upcoming titles to ensure every minute you spend in-game is world-class.
Stay Tuned We are currently putting the finishing touches on our 2026 Roadmap, and we cannot wait to pull back the curtain and share specific titles and release dates with you in the new year.
Thank you for being the most passionate community in the industry. We wish you a restful holiday season and a New Year filled with adventure.
Warmly, The team at Big Fish Games And that's pretty much all I know about the situation. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out this year (pun intended).

Double Whammy!! First the notice of corporate changes at GoG, and now similar issues at BFG. From a "casual" observer, the BFG issue sounds more troublesome.

Marian - As you said, time will tell. Side note: I used to own a sizeable chunk of Netflix stock. This was back in the day when Netflix said it was getting out of the CD business, and was going to concentrate on streaming. I sold my stock, at a good profit fortunately, because I didn't see a future in the streaming model. Well, you know how that turned out.
