The first Teaser Trailer for ‘Less Miserables’: a point-and-click parody of Les Misérables from College Fun Games. Explore revolutionary Paris in the company of colourful historical characters, while evading the police and finding your daughter before she is caught up in another bloody revolution.Check out the trailer here.Check out the game here.13th, January 2026, Edinburgh, UK: College Fun Games is just about to release a teaser trailer of their first full-length game, Less Miserables: a classic-style adventure game and very unfaithful adaptation of the classic novel by Victor Hugo, which following feedback will not be entirely in song. Play as ‘Claude Van Claude’, imprisoned for 14 years for stealing a loaf of bread, just released and on a desperate quest to find his daughter before she's caught in a violent revolution gripping the streets of Paris. Uncover the mysterious story of the childhood you missed, to discover her whereabouts while eluding capture from ruthless police officer LaBleugh. Part 'Monkey Island', part 'Allo 'Allo, Less Miserables aims to do for 'Les Misérables' what 'Life of Brian' did to The Bible, with legally British humour, and a modern hobo-based hint system. The game follows the known story tropes, but is accessible for people who never pretended to sing from the barricades or see a three-headed monkey. Fully hand-drawn, with 40 beautiful and/or deprived locations in Paris to explore, and dozens of unique characters, fully voiced by amazing stars of Edinburgh Fringe and stand-up, recorded in live-improv recording sessions. The Overly Dramatic Teaser Trailer will launch this Thursday 15th of January, with a demo for Steam Next Fest in late February, ahead of a April Kickstarter campaign. The 4 person team have already been developing the game for a year, including a field trip to Paris last March (with a 6 page feature in Debug magazine), aiming for a release at the end of 2026. Already selected for exhibition at Pocket Gamer Connect and GDLX (London), and Debug Indie Festival (Norwich) the full game is currently self-published and aims to release in Q4 2026 on Steam and itch.io for Windows, Linux, and iOS, with at least German and French translations. Happy Gaming!

Thanks Ana! I was afraid I was going to see pixels. It looks pretty good, doesn't it?
