Each question has an absurd clue which describes two or more people, places or things strung together by the words they share. Your job is to figure out the answer string. For example, "What child star did Indiana Jones visit in one of his adventures?" Answer: Shirley Temple of Doom.

1. What lead singer for Blondie was once a co-star of the crime series FBI and then starred in Driving Miss Daisy?
-2. What character played by Goldie Hawn in fatigues was also the president after and before Grover Cleveland and was paid $20 million to be hijacked in a movie?
-3. What 1957 National League MVP once killed Alexander Hamilton in a duel?
-4. What victorious general at the 1815 Battle of New Orleans sang Tender is the Night approximately 170 years later?
-5. What Scottish skeptical philosopher was the husband and frequent acting partner of Jessica Tandy?
-6. What author of the Declaration of Independence, after being the president of the Confederacy, gave his name to an international team tennis tournament?
-7. The human body metabolizes carotene to make what vitamin and first ever winner of four Indianapolis 500s?
-8. What Australian singer of Xanadu, born Marion Morrison, is a popular headliner in Las Vegas nightclubs?
-9. What American cellist, born in Paris, won the prestigious Avery Fischer prize in 1978 before it was revealed he was actually a she and that she had led her sons on a famed criminal rampage at the turn of the century?
-10. What director's highly personal films featuring neurotic urban characters reflect a departure, apparently, from his earlier poems such as "Howl" epitomizing the Beat Generation?
11. What French Neoclassical painter of the early 19th century represented England at the treaty of Versailles and the US in arms-reduction talks with Gorbachev before metamorphosing into a tree-dwelling nocturnal primate also called a galago?

Sometimes lost is where you need to be. Just because you don't know your direction doesn't mean you don't have one.
