I'll leave it to the talented writers/reviewers here to write about this game. I just purchased it on Steam. It's a beautiful, semi-cell-shaded game; sort of a sci-fi/ walking simulator with a good storyline. Great graphics, animations, more than a dozen save slots (as well as auto-saving on exit). Good underscore track. Lots of exploring. And, for a twist that's sure to please OTHER carpal tunnel-suffering, older gamers such as myself: wonderful node-navigation by which, either using WASD, arrow keys, OR your mouse, by clicking on the up,down, left,or right arrow hotspots the player can easily navigate without the pressure of most first person games (which make you hold down the direction and keep your finger pressed down to navigate. Also: the game is PERFECTLY optimized. Not one visual hiccup so far. SO well optimized that I was able to install the game on one of my desktop PC's NON-SSD drives. Finally: a newer game that doesn't tax my 6-yr-old Dell PC's fans :-) So: looks great, sounds great, good storyline...and it doesn't tax my PC. Multiple save slots and auto saving as well....and most importantly: easy-on-the-hands-and-wrist navigation! Liking this game so far. There's a free demo (on Steam) to test the game out (which made me immediately want to buy the game). And it's on sale for a few days (under $10). A good deal, in my opinion, for what the game gives players. Rob

Hello everyone, A player who enjoyed my game recently suggested that I introduce it here on GameBoomers, saying this forum has many adventure game fans, so I thought I would stop by and say hello. Back in the Swamp is a short first-person point-and-click adventure set in a mysterious post-apocalyptic swamp filled with giant insects and abandoned laboratories. The game focuses on exploration and environmental storytelling. Instead of dialogue, players discover what happened through the environments and a sketchbook they complete during the adventure. It’s a small solo project that I worked on for about two years. One of my early inspirations for making this project was the old Flash adventure series The Fog Fall by Mateusz Skutnik, which some of you might remember. If anyone is curious, here is the Steam page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3301420/Back_in_the_Swamp/And of course I’d be happy to answer questions. Thanks for letting me share it here! Bruno

to GameBoomers, CryoSwamp. I am looking forward to playing your game. And I spent some time in Toulouse the summer I was 18 - a very long time ago! Thank you for the welcome! That's funny to hear about Toulouse — it's a beautiful city. I hope you had a good time here back then. And I hope you enjoy the game when you get the chance to try it!
