Hi All. I've been following the startup for the jet pack exactly as written and it keeps blowing up on me. The walkthrough says I'm dong it right; the page Nancy copied out with the right colors says I'm doing it right. But it's not working. What now?

Hi Melia, It's been way too long since I played this game to remember the specifics of the jet pack. It's probably just one little thing that you are missing.

However, I can refer you to some Haunting of Castle Malloy saved games here which should help you get past this stuck point.

I found the answer on the HerInteractive website. It was a matter of not pushing the lever up two notches at once. It had to go up one, rest a second, then go up to the second. Crazy.
Now I'm having a problem storing the flammable containers. They keep exploding even though I'm sure I'm super careful.

Those flammable containers can be very tricky. Watching a YouTube video of it might help.

And checking the HeR Interactive website for solutions is also a good idea.
