One solve per person each day please.

For every proverb saying one thing, many times there is usually another with an opposite meaning.

If there's one thing Proverbial Opposites proves ... "It's a poor rule that won't work both ways!" wink

Can you find a Proverbial Opposite of one of the maxim's below.

sherlock

= 1. Fine feathers do not make fine birds
= 2. Many hands make light work
= 3. Enough is as good as a feast
= 4. It is never too late to mend
= 5. Hitch your wagon to a star
= 6. Out of sight, out of mind
= 7. Nothing ventured, nothing gained
= 8. The best things in life are free
= 9. Poverty is no sin
= 10. Birds of a feather flock together
= 11. Look before you leap
= 12. You can't teach an old dog new tricks
13. Early to bed, and early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise

To waste one second of one's life is a betrayal of one's self.
I wonder what's on television...?

12. You're never to old to learn. smile hi soot

Sometimes lost is where you need to be. Just because you don't know your direction doesn't mean you don't have one.
