Lyon, France, April 2026: Indie game developer and publisher Spore and Sorcery is proud to announce the upcoming release of Nocturne for Cyl-Hestia, a unique narrative adventure game combining investigation and memory, set in a dystopian science fiction universe featuring stylized art direction and original gameplay. Nocturne for Cyl-Hestia is produced and developed by a young team of passionate indie developers and is scheduled for release on PC via STEAM™, the Windows Store®, on PS5® and on XBOX® Series X|S on May 27th 2026. Nocturne for Cyl-Hestia bids you welcome to Cyl-Hestia, a city-state built around Cerulyn, a mysterious blue flame with exceptional properties. You are challenged to play as protagonist Silas, a memorialist tasked with piecing together fragments of memory to reveal the truth to the public in a world where memory is controlled by an authoritarian regime … Your task is to explore the city, collect altered memories, assemble them into interactive scenes, and discover what those in power are trying to hide. Each revelation you encounter has consequences: surveillance increases, residents react, and the world evolves based on your choices. With dark retro-futuristic art direction and a noir-inspired atmosphere, the game focuses on atmosphere and emotion.

Nocturne for Cyl-Hestia allows you to investigate through memory! Explore the districts of Cyl-Hestia and collect Memory Records, short testimonies entrusted by its inhabitants. These can be combined to reconstruct Remembrances and Mnemosyne Visions, revealing events buried in the collective memory. Your progress has a significant narrative impact, gradually revealing the full extent of the manipulation at the heart of Cyl-Hestia. Interaction with the environment is achieved using the sound hacking system, where you can program punch cards to decipher encrypted records, unlock forgotten passages, and interact with ancient technological devices linked to the Flame.

Nocturne for Cyl-Hestia includes a host of memorable characters to interact with. They offer clues and useful information critical to your progress – but be careful of whom you trust as you infiltrate the corridors of power, and explore the different levels of the city, from its forgotten slums to the sacred Spire tower. Memory becomes a weapon in this dystopian world, and only the most talented memorialist working for the independent newspaper “The Voice” will ultimately discover the truth.
