For each group, find a word that can be added to each member to make another word or phrase. For example, given DRAW, HOLD, IN, FORTH, the word WITH can be combined with each of them to make a new word or phrase.
1. sharp, straight, grass, electric, blade
-2. word, mountain, drop, hall
3. minor, church, ring, low
-4. petty, hung, rig, grand
-5. deck, red, duct, measure
-6. foot, fall, salt, top
7. heart, leave, sea, bay
-8. history, major, center, student
-9. color, break, track, forward
-10. ladder, file, cord, telephone
If you spell the words "absolutely nothing" backwards, you get "Gnihton yletulosba",
which ironically means absolutely nothing.
