The words in each set have a connection, something that could apply to all three of them in some way. For example: leg, sound barrier, bread = things you can break
1. teeth, luggage, chest, broken bones 2. candle, sheep, snuff, dance partner -3. rope, town, class 4. eye, box, cap, pot -5. surgeon, raccoon, skindiver -6. voice, party, switch, baseball 7. roads, schools, eggs, fingers -8. swords, street, fingers -9. bus, payment, deadline -10. blank, water, breath

If you spell the words "absolutely nothing" backwards, you get "Gnihton yletulosba", which ironically means absolutely nothing.

michele  SQF..... how do you close a cap?  ob, I don't think luggage has cavities
