Seven words have split up into two sets because one set has changed and the other has not. To reunite them, change one letter of each of the words in the first set. While the result may not make a word, it will pair up with a word in the second group, either before or after it, to make a whole new word. When finished, anagram the replacement letters into a new word. As you may have guessed, all words belong to the same category. Can you name the words and, lastly, the category?

-1. mug
-2. her
-3. wagon
4. ills
-5. rise
6. gel
-7. dry

-a. chic
b. fen
-c. nut
-d. tar
-e. mary
-f. gin
g. van

If you spell the words "absolutely nothing" backwards, you get "Gnihton yletulosba",
which ironically means absolutely nothing.

Great solves so far! Sorry about mentioning 8 letters because this puzzle has only seven. Remember that we'll anagram the replacement letters. For example, in #7, o replaced a d. Keep the o. I'll fix the ones above. wave
