Find the common dictionary word of the designated length that would appear between the two given words. All answers are single or hyphenated words unless indicated. There are no proper nouns or hyphenated words. No fair peeking in a dictionary!

-1. silent (10) silica
2. callow (6) calm
-3. holy (6) hombre
-4. chihuahua (9) child
5. infamy (7) infant
-6. mild (6) mildly
-7. roulade (8) round

-9. heavenly (7) heavy
-10. peace (5) peacock

If you spell the words "absolutely nothing" backwards, you get "Gnihton yletulosba",
which ironically means absolutely nothing.

To waste one second of one's life is a betrayal of one's self.
I wonder what's on television...?

Some say pigs are actually very intelligent animals.
Yet I have this whole freezer full of sausages.

I Googled a word that I think might be correct but I wasn't sure it was an actual word. Google confirmed that it is indeed a word. Can I use it?

Yes, oldbroad, that was fair. smile

LadyK, I'm looking for a 9-letter word, but it's also an itchy one. Chigger comes before chihuahua. smile

8. heavier wave hi Pandie

Sometimes lost is where you need to be. Just because you don't know your direction doesn't mean you don't have one.

4. chilblain think

Wasn't sure it was a word without an "s" at the end but adding "s" makes it ten letters.

When I Googled Chilblain, I got Chilblains. Then I Googled "Is Chilblain a word" and I got the answer, yes, but it also said this: "Common Usage: It is more frequently used in its plural form, chilblains."
