Would you believe I started a game of Myst yesterday...I'm loving it all over again! It's what got me started with adventure games all those years ago. thumbsup

As long as you're enjoying it! That's all that matters! I replayed Myst Masterpiece some time in 2024 and then I tried Real Myst Masterpiece but could not play it due to dizziness.

I'm playing Legacy - Reawakening (Steam)

OMG to say it's LONG is an understament! I've put in over twelve hours, and there's plenty more. It has some puzzle types I haven't seen before; and love the graphics.

Thanks for the recommendation, Tally Ho. I don't recall seeing this game. It looks good.

I must say that I am quite disappointed with the game I'm trying to play. In the 15 minutes I'm able to play every couple of days, I've managed to figure out something that so far hasn't actually moved me along in the game though. Now tonight, I was trying to look in an area that I've looked before and the game keeps pushing me up against a wall, literally. It will not let me move where I'm trying to move and once I'm at that wall the only thing I can do is exit out of the game. I don't know why it won't let me look at what I'm trying to look at. I have looked at it before. I guess it is time to start using the hints and or a walkthrough as I have pretty much lost interest but still want to finish the game. frown

After being put off with Dimhavens graphics I dove into a replay of Quern.

I'm sorry you didn't get to enjoy Dimhaven. It will be awhile before I see how I like it. I'm waiting for a better price.

I am unfortunately in a glitch in Call of the Elder Gods and probably will have to abandon the game. I can still try to see if the game will let me restart the chapter but if that doesn't work, I'm done! I am not the only person who ran into this glitch. It doesn't seem like they're trying to fix it. I don't know. When I am through being crabby about this I'll figure out what to play next.

The one thing I am finding difficult replaying Myst is it keeps changing to night time! It makes it so difficult to find my way in the "tree world"! There is no option to stop it from going to night time. I've spent most of the game in the dark with a flashlight! smirk

So, are you playing Real Myst then (or Real Myst Masterpiece - so many darn versions), Gerry? I can't play that game. Too dizzying! I tried. I played the regular old style game Myst Masterpiece which is bad enough when you have to go back and forth figuring things out and rearranging them.

I played the Dimhaven demo; didn't care for it.

Oldbroad I'm playing the Mac version of Myst and you are right there are different versions. The mouse control can be adjusted so it doesn't move to fast. I remember a few games where the mouse was almost uncontrollable...it would spin around too fast and I couldn't play those games.

Wow !! I’d forgotten just how good this game IS !!

And despite the “experimental” 3D of GK3, I might have to play THAT next as it also has a fantastic story 🌟🌟🌟

I believe I am going to play Crowns and Pawns next. It wasn't at the forefront but I have pushed it forward.
