Good Sunday morning. Continuing to be nice and hot, but not too hot here. We did have to start watering the tomatoes and cucumbers yesterday. It's always fun to watch the birds fly in and out of the mist.

Yesterday I made a very tasty salad with sweet corn, some tomatoes from the garden, a little green pepper and onion. Tonight it's leftover beer in the rear chicken!

Our weather continues to be be overcast with some rain. It's a welcome change from the last two months.

I'm off out for lunch today with a friend and then maybe rest in the afternoon. I'm still not feeling great. At this point I think I'm having a really bad asthma attack. If it doesn't improve soon I'll go to the doctor this week but I hate that 3 hour wait at the drop-in clinic.

Nice to see you in the Break Room ScarletDragon. The stormy weather brought in refreshing air and a beautiful day yesterday! I was able to open windows for the first time in days. Great walking too. It is going to be a good air quality day today...I am so thankful!

Good Monday morning. No walking for the Germans this morning. It was so foggy that walking on this twisty hilly country road would not have been advisable! So they're having a late breakfast and are heading in to St. Louis to an outlet mall to do more shopping.

We picked another bucket of cucumbers yesterday, so I'm making more pickles today - dill I think because I have so much dill growing alongside the driveway.

Hang in there, Mad! A break for you has to come sooner or later.
