Good Friday morning. Happy birthday, soot!

Yes, the forum was down last night. I hated to notify Ana as she's having a little R & R, but sent her an email about 7 :30 last night. Have no idea if it was a bot attack or what. But we're back!

Tonight is our traditional steak night with the Germans before they leave on Sunday. I will make a pasta with dried porcini mushrooms and LOTS of garlic, butter and Parmesan cheese. Hubby is making another batch of cucumbers and sour cream. I'm toying with making a batch of brownies with home made fudge sauce and ice cream. Tomorrow we will eat light!

When life gives you tomatoes, make Bloody Marys.

Good morning everyone,

It's overcast and I'm hoping for more rain.

I wasn't sure I'd make it through my dance class yesterday, as my lungs felt pretty bad, but not only did I make it through some pretty complicated dances, my chest felt better afterwards. This has been the longest Asthma attack I've had but it's finally clearing.

Not much on the go today apart from Pilates.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Happy Friday! Yes, I noticed a fairly big number (not humongous) of "guests" online last night and then the site shut down. Glad to see it back!

Enjoy your day all!

The number seems to be rising steadily right now again.

Good Saturday morning. A high of 72 degrees F today! The Germans walked this morning and said the pool was warmer that it was outside!

They are finishing up packing for the trip home tomorrow. They do a LOT of shopping while they are here, so packing is an art to get it all in the luggage and still meet the weight limit. One thing they stock up on for themselves and their friends is Press and Seal! Everyone hates the old Cling Wrap over there too!

We got over 5 inches of rain yesterday - 3 inches in the morning and 2 inches after supper. It was a "porch beer storm" as we call them in the Midwest! So we sat in the garage with a beer and watched it thunder, lightning and pour rain.

The steak dinner was superb. Now I have to think of something nice and light to make for supper tonight.

Draclvr hope you get some quiet time after your company leaves tomorrow. smile

I wasn't able to open GameBoomers again this morning. It said "Data base error...only visible to administrators". That's the 2nd day in a row I had this issue.

Hope you all enjoy the day! happydance

Good morning everyone...yes, I imagine the "guests" do tend to wreak havoc with GameBoomers access. I can only imagine what they think they are doing. I still have chocolate chip brownies to enjoy today and the next couple of days. Wishing you all a wonderful day.

You're absolutely right Space Quest Fan. I'll share...but I need to ensure they're safe to eat. It may take several samples!

Good morning everyone.

It rained a bit early this morning but not the heavy showers we were expecting so I'll be watering, but first I need to mow the lawn one last time. After all the care it's received this year it's nice and green and there's no moss, finally.

My coffee machine seems to have given up the ghost, or at least needs to be repaired. It's done yeoman service over the years, so I can't complain, but I was hoping it would last longer. Fortunately I have several other ways to make coffee just in case. My pour-over coffee this morning was quite delicious.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.
