I have been playing (and just finished) Dark Sisterhood: The Initiation. Puzzles were on the easier side, which suited me just fine. The game itself was pretty good and a bit longer than I thought it might be. It took me about four to five hours or so.

Because it was mentioned recently, I started a replay of Lak House: Children of Silence.

Such a good game. I am about ready for a replay myself.

I started Solitaire Detective 2: Accidental Witness yesterday.

I have played The Lake House: Children of Silence which I have on disc, from Steam in a bundle, and from Big Fish. I installed the BF game in hopes of replaying it in the somewhat near future.

I finished Episode 5 of Artifact Seekers. This time I only got 4 stars. There were 3 sets of 5 same optional mini games and this time I couldn't even win 1 game of the 5 on 2 of those sets. You need to win all 5 to get a star. The other set, I couldn't find the object needed to activate the last game so, no star there either. And I was missing one morphing object, so no star there. The puzzles and episodes seem to keep getting harder and harder. I'm going to play (or attempt) to play Episode 6 but then I think I may need to take a break from the game and play something else. We'll see. Maybe I can just do both.

You have really cut a wide swath through Artifact Seekers, ob. I am impressed.

I've been waiting for you to start playing it, Marian. I'm curious to hear your thoughts about the game. Maybe I've shared too much? Each episode is very different from the others. One thing I noticed though is that (for some reason this a let down to me) the voice acting is the same no matter which team you choose. I found that out when I looked at some different videos for something. I don't know why, but I thought they would be different.

Maybe they are using AI for the voices? I don't much about this type of stuff but that might possibly explain it.

The games sound puzzle intense to me and I haven't really been in the mood for that lately, but being as it's Five BN, I will absolutely start playing them at some point. And no, nothing you have told me about the game has spoiled it in any way, so no worries. I like the fact that each episode is very different from the others, too. I am looking forward to it.

The game does have a lot of puzzles but the ones to get the stars are optional, obviously or I would never have gotten this far, but they may be making it sound more "puzzle intense" than it really is. Still, there are no HO scenes so, yes, a lot of puzzling.

I saw one player comparing it to the Nancy Drew games. Maybe she was thinking of The Shattered Medallion in particular - I don't know.

Dreamwalker was published by Artifex Mundi and developed by House of Fables. It looks, plays, and feels like an Artifex Mundi game, which is a good thing.

I think the comparison to ND/Shattered Medallion was based on the setting and theme of that particular game. It seems very unlikely that there is much of a resemblance otherwise apart that they are both adventure games.

I have most of the Artifex Mundi games. I do see a HO game I don't seem to have - Deadly Puzzles: Toymaker - unless it is under some other name.

I don't think I have Deadly Puzzles: Toymaker either but will have to check to make sure.

Finished Episode 6 tonight which was easier, but I still only got 4 stars. Of the 3 optional puzzles, once again, I could not find the 5th items to activate and play them all. One of the sets was Mahjong games and I won 2 of them but could not solve it the 3rd time even after about 20 attempts, but the other 2 sets I could have gotten stars if I could have found the last item. I also didn't find the secret room (which I missed in at least one other episode too). I think I know where it was but couldn't solve the puzzle.

I must admit, I'm surprised the game keeps pulling at me to keep playing. Not too many games do that for me these days.

I think it is just great that you decided to play this. It's nice to be caught up in a game to this degree!

The premise of the game (is that the right word?) is not attractive to me. I never watch this type of thing on tv. But, it's great for this game!

Oh, I am so in trouble. I started Episode 8 tonight and played at around 1.75 hours getting through only the first scene and now to get to the next scene I have to steer a snowmobile through a bunch of barriers. I may possibly have to use the last of my free skips. We'll see if I can navigate through the obstacle course before I lose my patience.

I finished Episode 7 with 5 of 10 stars.
