If that doesn’t work do you have a Verizon store near you. I might cast you some but they may be able to open it for you. I did Google how to open a locked iPhone and got some results… may be complicated… using a computer.

Laurette, Marian's link is a video. You don't necessarily need a SIM card to unlock it, but you do need a SIM card to connect to a cellular network. Is this phone a used one that just needs a password? Or is it a cell phone that is not connected with an existing carrier such as ATT, T-Mobil, Verizon etc.?

I know I don't need a SIM card to view, but to unlock iPhone (per video). I bought it from ATT. It was purchased new but I tried my access code too often and phone is now "unavailable." I do not know where SIM card is (apparently misplaced.)

Are you sure the SIM card isn't already in it? If you got it from AT&T, you really need to take it there to resolve this.
