Can you explain the paragraph below? You may ask yes or no questions. Not far from Madrid, there is a large wooden barn. The barn is completely empty except for a dead man hanging from the middle of the central rafter. The rope around his neck is ten feet long and his feet are three feet off the ground. The nearest wall is 20 feet away from the man. It is not possible to climb up the walls or along the rafters. The man hanged himself. How did he do it?
If you spell the words "absolutely nothing" backwards, you get "Gnihton yletulosba", which ironically means absolutely nothing.

That's dark, soot. Okay, this one's a bit harder... A man lives on the tenth floor of a building. Every day he takes the elevator to go down to the ground floor to go to work or to go shopping. When he returns he takes the elevator to the seventh floor and walks up the stairs to reach his apartment on the tenth floor. He hates walking so why does he do it?

Do all of the elevator buttons work, and are there enough for all the floors (ie, no hidden floors)?
Are there any conditions under which he wouldn't stop at 7, or does he always get off there?
Is the man choosing to get off at 7, meaning there is nobody forcing him to do it?
Some say pigs are actually very intelligent animals. Yet I have this whole freezer full of sausages.

Yes, on rainy days he can go all the way to the tenth floor
Certain circumstances force the man to get off at the 7th floor
