Good Monday morning. It was only 68 degrees F this morning! I had all my windows open and slept burrowed under the covers. Unfortunately back in the upper 90's for the rest of the week. I'm going to miss my pool!
I have a huge pot of tomato sauce I cooked down yesterday. Some I will make into a chili base and the rest might be a sauce with onions, garlic, green peppers and spices. So a busy day ahead canning.
When life gives you tomatoes, make Bloody Marys.

Good morning everyone.
I'm heading off to the dentist to deal with my two front teeth. They were badly damaged when I was a teenager; I was hit from behind while walking, by a heavy man speeding along on a bicycle, and landed on my face on the road. It's a miracle the teeth are still there but the crowns are very old now and need replacing, so I thought I'd go with veneers.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Good morning everyone.
It's been raining all night, which is perfect because my landscaper was by yesterday and aerated and fertilized the lawn. Of course now it will grow like crazy and need mowing again.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Good Tuesday morning, So, how am I spending my birthday? Canning a sweet and spicey chili sauce in this 98 degree heat! Yeesh!

Good morning everyone. Wow, what a great day--WADDB, bagels and cupcakes...it doesnt get much better than this. Think i have a grocery run in my very near future...time will tell. In the meantime, coffee and cupcakes! Have a great day everyone

Good Wednesday morning. I survived yesterday working in the 102 degree garage and got more goodies for the winter. Someone needs to tell Summer she is drunk and needs to take a nap!
