More nice weather here. Nothing much on the agenda. I have some administrivia to attend to today after Pilates and then I guess some gaming.

Good Friday morning. Whew, only 33 more days of this horrid heat

I'm going to have to go out and hook the hose up to a soaker hose and water my 11 giant miscanthus grasses I planted this spring. They are tough, but not THIS tough!

Another beautiful fall day here before the rain arrives tomorrow. Planning on a nice long walk this morning.

Last Wednesday there was another bear sighting on the country road where I walk. I was told the bear was seen crossing the road into the forest...there is forest on both sides. The lady was walking her dog when she saw the bear up ahead of her. She said it was big...probably weighed in around 400 pounds! Her dog was so scared he got behind her and never even barked! Her dog is a "friendly" lab.

Tomorrow night Pam will be hosting Trivia at the Eagles for the first time since Jack passed. She will be teaching a sign language class before Trivia. Enjoy the day and hug someone.

Good Saturday morning. Unless it's a mama bear with cubs, they are afraid of us, so hopefully you won't see the bear! I'm sure you have lots of them in your area. We had one who was seen in town for about a week and he was spotted out our way too. It was just a juvenile male moving through to new territory. We have a very healthy bear population here too.

Are you going to the sign language class, connie? I would love to learn signing. My DIL knows some basic sign language and used it with my granddaughter when she was a baby before she learned to talk. It was amazing to see her ask for a piece of apple by using the sign for apple!

Another day of 98 degrees F today and then maybe a cool down tomorrow to the low 90's.

I will be walking early today as the rain will arrive around 9am instead of late afternoon. Draclvr I have yet to see a bear, but I did have a lone coyote wander thru my yard back in May...he was beautiful, but too close for comfort...especially at 5 o'clock in the afternoon!

Nothing exciting here, except that I loaded up No Man's Sky on my new computer and immediately got zapped because I couldn't work out the controls in time!

No bears here at the moment. We do have a cougar roaming about ten miles away, which makes me glad I have a fence. While a cougar could jump over it, they would be more likely to go after a softer target.

No bears here, thank goodness 👍

Good Monday morning. What is this? You mean it's not 95 degrees outside?!? I actually put on a sweatshirt this morning!

Dental appointment this morning for a routine cleaning and then a stop at the grocery store while I'm in town. Going to have to buy more sugar for the hummingbirds. They have NEVER been here this late! I've already gone through 110 pounds.

Wolves and garlic sounds good to me, Fogfighter!
