Just got news about this game was not aware if You all knew if you did Sorry to repeat but here you go , ...... Watch out for dangerous strangers in the night! New Oak Island Update available. ==> https://bit.ly/3GPQ0FR and new website ..... https://www.oakisland-game.com/?fbclid=IwAR2ySAy2SiPP7mR7GATFbyJjI3NjpAA9jaUDm6pi8kBhAP3Y8FmGYIp8NNo placing my order later so my daughter can order for thanksgiving (love her ) Thanks Everyone

I'm not sure why you'd be placing your order now, given it's 6 years in the making and no release date available. I would highly recommend you wait for a release.

Anymore pre-purchasing or backing could come to bite you unless it is a developer you can depend like Microids.

The "Kickstarter" says delivery date of Sept 2016. I'd be a little careful here. It sounds just like Asylum

I will say The Mystery of Oak Island looks good. One I would get for sure, just don't know what year if ever

Yes. I got the update today

As a "backer" from all those years ago, I've stayed in contact (now and then) with the developers and received personal replies to my emails.

And I do feel hopeful they will release the game .... eventually.

[ I don't really know why I feel hopeful. It's just a feeling ]

Leeana, did you back the game years ago and forget or maybe pre-ordered it already? Not sure how else you would receive a backer update. I got the email update yesterday also.

I Thank You everyone ... I really need to look into that didnt know .....

Homestly I dont remember Oh well ....

Thought some may be interested before the official statement comes out...they just listed a Demo on Steam

Yes …. Got the Kickstarter email …. 🙂

My question (already sent in) is whether I will actually GET my backer’s copy - as the game appears to be being released only via Steam.

Years ago I was personally assured by the game’s creators that I would so I’m hoping that decision still stands !!

I hope all goes well for you Mad

This demo was released during Next Fest. Demos are known to get pulled when Next Fest ends so if you would like to run the demo I would suggest you play it before Oct 26 - 1pm EST

Steam Next Fest

Been waiting a long time for this one.. good to see a demo.
