I finished and really liked First Lie Wins. The plot is deliciously twisty!

I've only finished the first chapter of The Lighthouse at the End of the World by Philip A. Suggars, but so far, strange but good.

Just starting Intensity by Dean Koontz. looks promising.

How is the Koontz book Judith?

It's nice to be important but it is much more important to be nice.

I 'm re-reading Richard Matheson's Hell House. Good Halloween reading. I might grab a copy of I Am Legend this week, too.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

I just finished Dead Beat, the 3rd book in Leigh Bardugo's Ninth House trilogy. It was a wild and often gritty ride through the magical escapades and entrenched hierarchy of Yale after the protagonist's return from hell in the last book. The ending was very satisfying.

I have a Penguin Classic called The Best of Richard Matheson. A good number of his short stories were turned into Twilight Zone episodes.

Nice! smile

I finished Pet Sematary and it was just as good as I remembered it to be. Not sure what's up next.

Pet Sematary is one of King's creepiest books.

Right now I'm reading Love, Politics, and Other Acts of War, the second book in H. M. Foster's Gentle Apocalypse series. The first one, The Demon Overlord's Retirement Plan, was a fun read, and this one is following along in the same light humorous style.
