Well Peter I stuck with it and finished every puzzle except the numbers grid puzzle which came up early on in the game.I didnt understand it then and I dont understand it now.Even after watching the hint complete a game I still dont understand it.Other than that it turned out to be a very enjoyable game. I dont know if there is some kind of definate ending to the game because I didnt finish that one puzzle.I also heard somewhere that there were 30 puzzles.I only got 21 or so,so I dont know whats up with that. But all in all a very enjoyable game.

Geo, there are definitely more puzzles than 21. What is the last one you completed? Maybe you didn't finish it yet and it hasn't triggered the next location. The screen with all the games should be full. I beieve it should contain 5 rows of 6 games.

Geo,

The Magicama FAQ (accessible from my web site) may answer some of your queries.

Also please e-mail me directly if you still have any unresolved issues.

The last puzzle I completed was the best poker hand puzzle. There are no more puzzles available to me.I completed them all axcept the number grid puzzle which came up early on.So here I sit, apparently many more puzzles are yet to come but I cant get to them. What a bummer.

Geo....I'm certain you will be able to get them one way or the other. Peter should be on to help, if for some reason he doesn't you can send me your save and I'll take a look at it. If I'm not mistaken it is a text folder in the Magicama folder that is called the item you are using to get in such as "well" or "owl". That is what you'd have to send. Or, you could save that folder to your desktop, uninstall the game and reinstall it. Perhaps there was a glitch in installation.

Hi Geo -- there is a glitch in the game associated with progressing after this particular card game. If you email Peter at Mulawa Dreaming, he'll be able to straighten out the glitch for you.

That's strange that the game does not progress. I beta tested it and played it an unbelievable amount of times and it never got stuck. duh

Hi Geo,

CYE

I've also added this issue to the Magicama FAQ - sadly it is a very rare occurence. I say "sadly" because it means that I've been unable to reproduce it so am unable to fix it as yet. Many others have tried to reproduce it also without success. As far as I know out of hundreds (maybe thousands) of plays it has happened 3 times!

Peter

Hi,

I am playing Magicama and have found 6 games but I can't seem to find any more. I have 7 red spots on the map and they take me to panoramic locations but I can't find anything there. Can anyone help please?

Mave.

There is a flash of a closeup when you first get to the location. You need to find that spot that was in the closeup. Some locations pan left and right, some just straight ahead. Which picture is it?

Mave -- if there's a 7th red spot on the map, that means that the 7th game is still hiding in one of the locations.
Click to reveal..
Sometimes you have to click to advance further into a location before doing more 360 panning to keep looking. Also, you can use the Hint feature to show you where the game is located if you are having trouble finding it.

Hi,
Have you got to complete the first level of a puzzle before you can access another one. I'm stuck on one of the puzzles and the help icon isn't there so I can't move on.

There should be a help button to get you through each one. You need to complete one puzzle in each in order to move on. Which one are you stuck on?

Hi Ana,

I'm stuck again on no 20.I have tried the hint and I see what is happening but whenever I try to do it nothing happens.
I've clicked on the dots and the lines.

I'll take a look at 20 when I get home from work, unless someone comes by sooner. This should really be posted in Hints so anyone playing can come along and help.

I am really enjoying this game with one small exception. I see no way to back out of a puzzle once I realize I'm on the wrong track. In the third puzzle for example, I didn't have to place very many pieces before I realized I was backed into a corner and now I don't know how to restart the puzzle. Did anybody else have this problem with this game?

Jenna, every puzzle should have some type of reset button. Which one are you on?

Edit: By third one, do you mean the puzzle with the geometric figures that you place to make a design? If they are in place and you can't move them, you put them in the right place. They won't stay put in the wrong place.

If you have any more problems, there is a thread in hints going also. It would be better to post there.
