It is good to hear there is a strategy guide through Big Fish- however it is not clear how to order it. When I go to the page that talks about it, to the left is a download button, but that appears to be for the game, which I already have. Have I missed something?

That is not the walkthrough that is advertised for purchase from Big Fish. That was my question. When I go to Big Fish, they advertise a walkthrough, but I can not for the life of me figure out how to get the walkthrough as opposed to the game. Has any one been able to get the walkthrough from Big Fish, and if so how?

Donna, When I go there, I can click on Get Strategy guide. When I clicked on Download, the file name was strategy guide.

I did not complete the purchase but it was separate from the game purchase. That could be because I already have the game.

It had the option to download for an hour demo. Did you try that?

Hi! I just tried again- I have the game. I clicked on the link "Get Strategy Guide"- it worked this time, but their terminology is confusing- I kept reading game, not "download guide" for example. It all worked out- I figured I could cancel if it was actually the game (that I already have) rather than the guide. Their terminology is confusing! However- all is well that ends well!

Great Donna, I'm glad you got it!

Did you have to pay to get it, may I ask?

Edit: Yep, just looked at my account history, and it did take a credit. Live and learn :USA:

Finished!! Great game. Used orbs on all robots and still ended with two-so I think you can get five total. Cannot figure out why you get them, suspect it is speed that puzzles are completed.

I finished it as well. It's a great game. I'm definitely going to have to play it again. I used my Orbs on those silly ball games. Those are difficult. smile

It could be the speed why you get orbs, I am a slow player and I have only had, the most 2 in any chapter.

Anyone got any tips on the puzzle where you have to select 3 stones the same, it always takes me ages to do this and I run out of time,
not sure what the idea is, and how to do it quicker,
this will be the 3rd time I have re-started chapter 7 because of this,

I can't remember what this puzzle is. I will see if I can find it in the side room.

I can't find 3 stones in the usual puzzles. Is this one of those room puzzles? If so, can you describe more of the room or the items involved.

Not sure if this is the one you mean, but if it is the tile game where you have to clear the board, it took me a while to figure out that if you look closely at the board you can see which tiles you have removed as they get a bit darker. Then just try to get rid of the ones that still look lighter.

Widget.

The purpose of the game is to have all the squares turn dark by clicking on them in a set of 3s.

As orchid girl stated - be sure to move your cursor out of the board and see that there are light and dark squares. The dark squares are usually around the edges - those are already done but still can be used as part of the 3 squares.

Find all 3 similar tiles in horizontal, vertical, diagonal or V (sideways or straight V) shapes. As long as they are adjacent on sides or corner.
If you run out of matching squares in that present set of tiles - change the tiles using the button at the bottom of screen. luck

I am having trouble with the Squares puzzle. The one where you connect the lines to try and make more squares than the spell. I just can't seem to get it. Any tips?

Linds and Jessca, I haven't played the game yet but I will quote from the walkthrough at Gamezebo by By Margie Bissainthe

Here is the tips for Squares:

Click to reveal..
SQUARES: Click on the dots and the machine will do the same. Take your time and watch the steps the computer is doing. If you click the wrong one the computer can get ahead of you by forming many tiles quickly.

Jessca, welcome to GameBoomers - I can't find anything about Symbols in Chapter 6. This is what I found.

Click to reveal..
CHAPTER 6

THE LAUNDROMAT

Click the middle washing machine

Click on the first dryer and pick up the coins

Click on the panel box that's facing the machines

Click on the panel box that's facing the dryers

Pick up a block that's on the floor next to the 1st dryer

Pick up a block that is on the shelf on top of the washers

Click the panel that is next to the dryer and place coins in the slot and press the middle button and a red bar will appear

Deposit the coins again and press the last button and a blue bar will appear

Place both those bars in inventory

Press the middle washer and insert one of the blocks in it and then place a colored bar in as well. Deposit coins into the washer and wait for it to stop. Once the machine stops pick up the colored block and place it into the panel that is facing the washers. Repeat the same steps for the second block

Once the second block is in you can proceed to the next level

THE BASEMENT

1. Press the water pump that is next to leaking faucet
2. Click the crate that has a letter stuck under it
3. Grab the duct tape that's next to the broom on
the right side of the floor
4. Click on the newspaper clippings that are on the wall and you will see 3 colored trays. while you're in that bubble pick up the clothespin that is in the top corner
5. Press the pipe that is next to the crate and the water faucet will appear
6. Click the duct tape on the faucet
7. Press the valve on the water pump and the water dries up
8. Get the corkscrew that is on the steps
9. Get the bottle that's on the far left side of the floor by the other bottles
10. Open the bottle with the corkscrew by placing the corkscrew over the bottle
11. Pour the bottle in the middle tray that is next to the pictures
12. Hit the switch that's on the wall close to the pictures and the room will turn red
13. Pick up the picture that is under the crate and dip it into all 3 trays starting with the first one. Then grab the clothespin and hang the picture on the wall on the water pump

Linds,
This is a fun one. The object of the puzzle is to get more squares than the computer.
The strategy is to put a line that does NOT make the opponent close that square. So watch to see that you are not placing a third line that will form a square.
Also watch where the opponent places its line because it makes 3 lines early so it can make more squares.

welcome Jessca!
I will see what Symbols puzzle is about. I can't remember - be back.

Jessica,
The strategy for symbols is to complete a row or column with least number of open squares needing symbols first. Then you can proceed to do the next least number of open squares.
To fill in the symbols - check horizontal or vertical to see which one is missing then click on that symbol. luck
