I think it might be Disc world I. I sure there was a barber from whom you had to steal a pink roller but I can't remember why - its a long time ago

Yes Chrisse- I would not have remembered without you saying Disc World 2. I also rememberd a rather evil looking Santa Claus who you took a toy from.
