I didn't realize it had been so long since I posted about the great puzzle deal that Peter (Mulawa Dreaming) is offering, so for the benefit of our new members, I'm posting it again. The old thread was getting so long, it was slow to load, at least on my computer. Any of you who would like to check out what has been said in the past, just take a look at the first jigsaw thread and the second jigsaw thread . Besides the general discussion of the puzzles, there are some very useful tips on the easiest ways to work them.

For anyone unfamiliar with the wonderful puzzles that Peter conjures up, or who hasn't been introduced to his free trial offer, I'll repeat the information from the last thread below. And I encourage you to sign up for the free trial, with this warning: you are in danger of contracting a new disease called WAAP (working all available puzzles). The exact family relationship hasn't yet been determined, but WAAP is apparently some sort of relative to BAAGs, in that having BAAGs seems to make you more vulnerable to the severe forms of WAAP (in fact, I'm afraid that my case is rapidly reaching the terminal state! )

So here's the information: Back in October, Peter (aka "Mulawa"--the developer of Xiama and Magnetic) came up with a fabulous offer for a month's free subscription to his weekly jigsaw puzzles. It was a huge success (in fact I wound up not only continuing my subscription, but now I'm getting two puzzles a week!)

Since we've had a lot of new members join GameBoomers since October, I wanted to make sure that everyone was aware of this offer. Just follow Peter's link--you can't get a better deal than free...

Here is the quote from Peter's October offer: "My subscription jigsaws have been going for well over a year.

"Judging by all the e-mails I receive and the fact that nearly everyone re-subscribes, they are enormously popular. Many folk count the days to "Puzzle Day" each week! It seems there's something very special about a new jigsaw arriving every week.

"But I don't want you to take my word for it!

"So this is what I've come up with:

"A free one month's subscription to anyone who wants it!

"Just click on the link to take a peek:

Free jigsaws here!!!!! "

I really encourage you to take a look at this offer--it's a great one... praise

I'm a very happy victim of WAAP from the second jigsaw thread and am still working the puzzles from my first year's subscription, although I have already completed the 52 extra puzzles that I ordered. I have always considered myself to be so LUCKY to have learned about Peter's Jigsaws here at GameBoomers, my first forum experience. It was so great dealing with Peter when I had problems with downloading the puzzles because it was the first time I had ever even tried to download anything and I made all sorts of weird mistakes. I recall one very early successful download that I deleted because I didn't know what it was at the time. So I'm posting Peter for help and he really was so sweet and patient with me and I finally learned and became more confident with downloading and emails. I was so new to the whole Internet back then!

To love is to be happy with!

I just finished puzzle #99, Timewarp, and thought the shading on it was simply fantastic! So many of these puzzles would be wonderful prints to hang up framed on the wall. happydance

We have recently been getting getting a new commercial with Peter's puzzle of "The Birth of Venus'
in it.

It's the one where she rising in the Sea Shell, with a few other Gods and Goddess's floating about.

I've done that one 3 times now, what I call an Oldie but Goody. Of course thay are ALL goodies, just some newer than others. happydance happydance praise

Bea, I had so much fun with it! In the piles, the colors looked the same, but then when you would sweep a piece across the puzzle, it would stand out and then - kazaam! in one small space it would blend in so that it wasn't even there. lol I'm probably not articulating that well, but do you know what I mean?
