I feel like maybe I missed some of the Darkmere chapter. For example, I still had my bag of clothes and never did rescue the toothy fella in the stables. Anyway, I'm in the machine now. I have the scull, but can't find anything to fix the two items for the janitor...can anyone point me in the right direction?

gaily, did you not have the cutscene that explained everything you are carrying and what happened to the skinless man in the stable. He is .

Are you on the first request from the janitor or the second? THe first request is to fix the tracks, you should not have another request until you finish the first?

I did see the cut scene at the end of darkmere, so I finished all of the important pieces for the chapter; I guess I missed the connection between the two ghouls...sometimes I have a hard time understanding some of the characters. I am on the first request of the janitor and I have I can't figure how to use what I have to fix the track.

Hello Again. I'm still in the lower reaches. I have finally gotten through the stone guardian, have spear, gave bug to Arach and got his gift. Was able to finally open that door. Dont' have a clue how to open the three/four doors/gates in the new room? But now I think I need to deal with the Chief and the ravens, however, after reading Inferno's post in the other thread, I can't find what I need to quiet the birds and get what I need from the Chief. I'm guessing that when I figure all of that out I will get what I need to get the Woodgator? Please give me a big big nudge in the right direction?

gaily, when you go to Tower V (I think that's the one) and go upstairs to the electric current thing, move Briggs to the left or right and you will see an object to pick up square in the middle. They are tongs. You can use them to do a little dental work.

I totally agree about understanding the characters....I struggled and missed quite a bit. I really wish I had subtitles.

You can get subtitles using the T key. I had to switch them on again sometimes when I started the game up.

I'm at the Doors of Destiny and I know what to do with the Woodgator. But what do I do with the spear. I know it goes on one of the doors and I know when I press the metal button one of the doors open, however, I can't go into any of them. Am I supposed to? Or did I trigger something else? Which door does the spear go on and what's the purpose? Which door do I need to open and go through, if any. The only door that doesn't seem to be affected is the metal door on the left? Please help as I get the feeling I might be actually through this chapter soon? Thanks

Sly, try blocking one of the doors that open, and pressing that button again. (I think I blocked the one on the right, don't know if it matters which).

Hi Lohen, got it from an ebay site direct from Singapore, I don't think they have any copies left at the moment. Also think you can get it from the G2 website, there are other threads elsewhere with more info, you may need to do a search. Its a great game, inspite of the kerfuffle (won't go there!!)

Edit: checked the G2 website, says download is available.

Lohen, go to InteractCD on the top of the forum (highlighted in yellow) and you can order for there. He is on vacation this week but will be shipping next week.

I still can't get through the any doors of destiny. I blocked the one on the right and the other opens, but nothing happens. I can't go through it and I can't use anything in inventory with it...am I supposed to go through the door or get anything from it? Or am I just supposed to open one and then it triggers something else somewhere else. Please advise? I really would like to move on to the next chapter, or not.

I first blocked the right one, clicked the button, then I blocked the Middle one, clicked the button and I believe the one on the way left opened up when I did that. You did "eliminate" the wooden door right?

Great Glad to hear that Ana. And thank you sooo much. I finally made it to The Sewers. Woo Hoo! I couldn't have done it without you. I am going to read some threads now about the Sewers and then go at it. Hopefully I won't bug you too much today, but I can bet I will probably be back. Ana or Gaily, or anyone else out there, two questions. Where is Mr. Worrisome, can't find him. And where is the hammer? I have all other inventory items but have not found the hammer yet. Once I accomplish these two things, I believe with all of the wonderful hints in this and the other thread I just might be able to muddle through this chapter. Thanks Again.
