At the beginning,Nina is at her Father's house and has gotten his address book and a note,it is in my inventory but when I try to get nina to read it,it doesn't happen,so I got on the motorbike to go to Oleg's house but it will only take me to the back to the museum. What can i do? I have "Game Help" on but it doesn't show on my screen. Help. Thanks.

I think this game is like NiBuRu; you have to right click on most things both in and out of inventory. laugh

I didn't do it......and if I did I'm not guilty!

I'm really not cooking on any burners today. 2 more simple questions,at Oleg's house trying to get cat out of tree, got handle with broom stick but then I'm to get a "brailer" what is that and where do I get it? Also in looking my inventory I have a poorcelain bowl and i picked up piece of aloe and thought i put it into bowl but the inventory doesn't say it is coated with aloe oil,can i go back and pick aloe piece or do i have to start over? Thank You.

Sleuth if I remember correctly a brailer was just a glorified net looking thing to catch stuff with. You will also need to grab a plastic bag that is near the street I believe. Combine the broom stick and the plastic bag and a handle from a plastic bucket [bucket back at Dad's house outside], and you will end up with what is called a brailer in this game.
You only need to coat the bowl with aloe. You can certainly go back and get another piece of aloe but if you clicked the aloe and the bowl together earlier, that should have been enough.

Thanks Sue, Did find the brailer on my own finally. Also went back to aloe plant but it wouldn't let me pick a leaf, hope that is ok and it still be useful later in game, as i haven't had to use it yet.Hate to start over as game is getting very good now. Love these games but as a senior without any computer knowledge, sometimes a little rough. Thanks again, you guys are good and so quick. But I'll probably be back again with questions.

More about the mouse......

If the right mouse key is highlighted and you see a little "eye" icon you can right click and will get some info on the object. If the left key is also highlighted with a little "hand" icon then you will pick it up but be sure to right click first.

If you have an object picked up and the right key has that little arrow curved back upon itself it will return the object to inventory by right clicking. Use the left key to use the object, if it can be used.........indicated by the left key being highlighted.

Right clicking an object in inventory, such as a package, will also give you the unseen contents of that object into inventory.

Click on TUNGUSKA CURSOR to see the cursors I'm speaking of.

#1 - Right click for info. Left click, in this case will not get you anywhere.

#2 - Only left click allowed. Takes you through door.

#3 - Right click will put the item back in inventory (see arrow curved back). Left click, in this case will perform an action between something onscreen and the bowl.

Thought i had it down but in father's office, attempting to place bowl on right vent of radiator and left clicked but cursor does not show a hand.Have been all over that radiator, right click says "radiator is lukewarm". Question sounds stupid but where is right vent of radiator?
Thanks for the explanation,it does help, must be me.

Edit:
picked up porcelian bowl with left cursor to place on right vent of radiator and cursor had an arrow to place back in inventory, nohand was shown, is this wrong action, its the only radiator in the father's office.

There are some tricky pixel hunts at that radiator, among other places. Sounds like you missed one at the radiator. Also are you sure the bowl contains what it is supposed to contain or is it still in inventory?

Sleuth move the woman out of your way and pan slowly over the right side of the radiator. You should get words marking the spot as the vent for the radiator. Then you can click the bowl on that spot and your bowl will have water in it.
