The earlier MCF games kept a record of scores and, therefore it was an incentive to beat your previous score after changing your profile. I think I must have done this 15 - 20 times in the first two MCF games. This I felt was real value for money.

However, for a long time now the Hidden Object games have not listed a score at the end and, hence it was not possible to try and beat the score.

Has anyone any idea why these latest games have stopped including the score? Could it be that the publishers wish to sell more games rather than purchasers being able to play the same game many times over?

I will look forward to hearing Boomers' opinions and thoughts on this thumbsup

Hmm, I'm thinking that maybe not enough gamers are interested in scores or playing games over JUST to get a better score. Last night I finished MCF: Huntsville and I have no idea of my final score/time, but while playing I noticed the game did seem to track the time. I also looked at the the list of best players and the top one was like two and a half hours! Sheesh, it took me almost that long to bust each of the perps. I was way up into 2-digit hours (over 30 when I last glanced at the time but played a lot after that) so no way am I ever going to play it again. Nope, I plan on getting MCF: Prime Suspects later today. For me, (and maybe most gamers?) the game is the reason for playing, not the score.

To love is to be happy with!

Bernie, I don't pay any attention to scores, so I wouldn't replay just for the score. But I will play Prime Suspect again just to see if the bad guy is the same.

You could play to try to beat your time puppy

Yes L4L - I do like to try and beat the time etc and consider playing like this very good value for money wave

Bernie I have an advantage on replay.

Swiss cheese memory--therefore I forget what happened before, so every time is like the first rotfl
