There is a new hidden object game out today on BigFish.It's lots of fun. Pets are missing and its up to Polly to find out what is goig on. Nice graphici and fun minigames. Downloaded it yesterday. Check it out.

Tried it from Spin Top Games last week. Is cute but I don't think I'll buy it.

It's a cute game, I like the inbetween puzzles and the theme, but I thought some of the objects almost impossible to find because they are hidden in dark areas and some are very small. I will pass on this one too.

In this game some of the objects run across the screen or poke out from somewhere which is a very cute idea. You have to be quick. Some of you with extra sharp eyes may love this game.

I guess games like Madam Fate and other Mystery Case Files have spoiled me.

I had great hopes for this too but held my opinion until others posted. I wasn't overly impressed while some ideas in the game do show promise. I guess I am tainted by 20+ casual games installed already. Linda

**edit: After reading the positive reviews I decided to give the game another shot and I must admit I am more taken with it now.

It is clever, gives plenty of hints and more than enough time that I don't feel rushed. The music is pleasant and the rooms are imaginative and delightful. I think I shall be well-pleased purchasing this game.

I thought I owed it to anyone reading to change my post after trying the game again. Linda

I am really enjoying this game. I like the animated features. The mini games are repetitive but fun. It has also been a long game so far. I like the background sounds as well. Thats just MHO.

Has anyone hit a snag - can't get the "bat" to click on the segment where you have to catch the lizard?

I can't click on the Bat either, seems like a glitch. Now you cannot finish the game. BFG is there a patch?

Hi all, I also got to the bat and it wouldn't take it-looks like pretty near the end too.

I tried to find a patch at BFG but no go, I also did a google search for a patch but didn't have much success. Anyone figure it out?

I also tried to reinstall the game after deleting the game saves but it didn't make any difference.

Little early for a patch though last time think game was removed until it was fixed.

Please contact BFG support for this issue. They won't be fixing anything if they aren't told direct.

I don't know about the bat but the dove was nearly impossible Even using a hint, it circled too late and the dove kept flying. But I was able to catch it after using a hint.

I just received an email from BFG about the problem we are having:

Over here at Big Fish Games, we were in a bit of scramble and we owe you an apology. We discovered a teeny-tiny issue with Polly Pride: Pet Detective in level 19 that made it impossible to finish. Yikes! As soon as we became aware of the issue, we contacted the game’s developers and received a brand-new, fixed version.

Since you purchased Polly Pride before we released the new version, we’d like you to uninstall the “bad” copy and reinstall the new copy, here’s how:

1) Uninstall the game from the Add/Remove Programs component in your Window’s Control Panel.
2) Go to BigFishGames.com and head to your Purchase History page.
3) Find Polly Pride: Pet Detective and select the Install Game Now button.
4) At the start of the game, enter the same user name you had before so you don’t lose your progress.

ETA: Big Fish rocks! They are always on the ball with patches and fixes!

I talked with tech support at BFG and they just emailed me that the game is fixed and so if you redownload it, level 19 and the bat works. I am just trying it now.
