Just curious. Wondering how many like to play the full one hour demo, just to see how far you can get? Like doing this with hidden object games but will do it with other types, too.

Never resist a generous impulse.

I generally will play the full demo if I am thinking of purchasing the game. Quite a few I uninstall within 10 minutes.

Yes, I have also played the full demo to see how far I can get, but when I do that I skip all dialogs. If within the demo I can no longer progress (Granny type games) I know not to purchase as I'm already stuck.

I have a lot of demos on my notebook that goes to some doctors with me and it helps to pass the time in the waiting rooms. I purchase and play what I like on my desktop.

So many games, so little time.

I pretty much only play a demo to see if I like the game and want to purchase. Like raylinstephens, I have uninstalled many demos after only playing for a few mins.

If I'm "hooked," I play the entire 1 hour demo to see how far I get only to see how short the game is (I look up how many more levels there are etc.). If there's not much play after the demo is over, I won't purchase it. Having said that, I don't think I've run into any games like that so far though.

If I've played the whole hour I figure it's a game I like and then I buy it.

If it's a game that has me looking at my watch after a few minutes, I uninstall it and play something else. wave

I'm pretty much like looney4labs in that I usually purchase the games I play the full demo for. There is an exception though. If it's a game like Dream Chronicles where I know just from the description and screen shots that I like it and I know it will be a short game, I will download the demo and just play for a few minutes to make sure, then I'll buy it. Make sense?
