Hi everybody,
Has anyone played this demo?I am stuck at the freezer.I have tried blocking the air coming out of the pipe with a big slab of concrete.The air just goes right through.I tried to break the thermostat.Didn't work.So I'm stuck.Maybe I am totally thinking the wrong thing.

I'm sorry, brajki, but I haven't played the demo--there are some here who have, so I guess we'll just have to wait for one of them to come by, it's pretty late at night now, so it might be tomorrow...

Use your coin in the coke machine and get a can of coke and throw it at the thermostate a few times that should stop the air.

Thanks for the help on the demo questions.I got the full game today.Already stuck.Is there a walkthrough anywhere?There is a little forum on the site but not much.Well,can anyone tell me what to do after you swim through the blood and go up the stairs?I already turned the crank,there was a click but the door won't open.I cant seem to find anything else to do.

I don't remember swimming through any blood, where about are you

I just got through the room with the 3 barrels and the colored circles on the floor.Once I got through there I found myself in a room I thought had blood on the floor but I realized I was actually swimming through it because he will start to choke if you dont climb the stairs.

Brakji, there is what is called a "full walkthrough" here, if that is any help...

Seems like I remember a switch on or close to the celing. Look up and try to see a switch in the other room. That was a hard room to get through.

Are you talking about the room filled with blood or the room with the snake looking things all over the walls and ceiling.I can't find a switch in the snake room.thanks for the help.

brajki, There are also 8 videos on youtube for the full game that you can watch and they will show you exactly how to do things. Just go to the youtube site and put in Penumbra Plague Plague and that should get you to the proper page. Marie

Now i'm stuck trying to kill the worm coming through the walls.I couldn't find that one on youtube.I keep pulling the lever on the electrical box but nothing happens and then I die.Can't figure it out.

brajki, That worm is a tuffie, its on one of the Videos, I think possibly 3. If you are standing by the switch you see about 4 holes, one on the top one on the side by the switch is on one hole to right of the door and one hole to the left of the door. The only way you can get the worm fried is to pull the switch when he comes through the hole to the left of the door and then he spits up the hand.

If you stand slightly in front of that hole to lure him there and then run and pull the switch you should have him. It took me a while to get him because hes fast. Marie

Thanks marie, thats what I thought.It seems like that is the only hole the worm won't keep coming out of.You have to keep luring him each time.I will keep trying.We will see what happens.

OK,I got by the worm.Now I'm in the kennels.I turned the lights on,put the boxes in front of the holes in the walls,then go where the body falls from the ceiling.I think I'm supposed to run past him down the hall once the lights cycle on.Well the lights are not coming on.Is there something else I'm missing.I went on the youtube and it looks like I'm doing it right.Thanks for all your help,wouldn't make it through this game without youall.

There is one more kennel to ck out on the other side and then when you come back a dog runs past. Then you go to the room with the save Artifact and there is a lite up panel go to it and and shut it off. Go out that room and back to the hallway with the boxes and the body that fell and around the corner the lights hanging from the ceiling(not the side ones) should flash on and off in a sequence. Be sure you stay in the light all the way, and get the key card from the body, and come back out staying in the light all the way. That shou do it. I'm glad to be of help, Marie Finished the game last night with all 13 collectable artifacts.

Thanks again marie for your help.Didn't realize you had to turn the light off again.Do the amount of collectable artifacts you collect change the outcome of the game.I forgot to grab one after going back to a saved game.Well, now I have a real problem.I made past the security system causing the big cave in after getting the substance.My game crashes as soon as it says to click to continue.I've tried it twice did the same thing both times.A warning from microsoft comes up and tells me the game crashed and it could be a number of different things.One of the things it tell me to do is go to settings qand delete the cfg.Have no idea what that is.When I try to do that it says it needs to know the program that created the file.How do you do that.Love games but am not computer savy.

I don't know if the artifacts change your score or not, I haven't seen anything on that.

There is a glitch in that area of the game that I ran into also. Deleting that file didn't help me either. Check on your short cut for the game and you will see a link to the games support, click there and it will take you to their link for the patch, download it to your computer and run it, and that should solve your problem.
