Largo Winch: Empire Under Threat has been added to GameTap. It's an adventure game with a Grim Fandango style control scheme. I've played a few hours so far and it seems like a great game.

Also, not really an adventure, but a puzzle game that lets you improve your pixel hunting skills has been added to GameTap. It's called Blood Ties.

Thanks Leglolas....there are a few threads on Blood Ties in the Casual Games forum. It is a Hidden Object game. You can try an hour free Here.

I played (quite a few years ago) Largo Winch Empire Under Threat on PS2 so don't know how well it works with keyboard control on PC.

To my mind it was a very underrated Adventure Game. For me the worst part was one maze puzzle (not too long) where you go into a 'diffferent control mode' which made me feel a little nauseous.

Other aspects include a few increasingly challenging hacking puzzles ('arcade style?'), & also some 'turn based combat' - please don't be put off - the combat is 'puzzle-based' & you can win by logical thinking! But overall it is a sound AG.

I really liked it but it seemed to be one that didn't appeal to the 'action' crowd & somehow bypassed the AG community.

Since I still have a few months left on my year at GameTap I decided to try BloodTies and so far I really like it, I think it is just my speed, or lack of! It is a hidden object game and is easier to play than the other games I've tried, but not too easy. I just barely make it in the time allowed on my second try at finding the objects in each scene, which is just about the right amount of challenge for me so that I can enjoy the game.

To love is to be happy with!
