You should have the two weird keys combined so you can go to the church and open the iron door.

I think it's in the secret room in the sewers. You don't have to go through a gate just a hole in the wall. When you leave the secret room you get a map so you don't have to follow the maze.

Thanks. I got the key made. Now to figure out how to get the priest away for a while. Any clues?

I haven't got that far yet. MaG said something when you have the picture developed the priest should leave. Not sure.

When I go to the priest, there's no "talk" icon anymore, so we've said all we're going to say. The same happens wherever I go. I know about the sick friend, too. I went to the police station hoping I could be the one to place the call, but no go.

Edit: Go figure, I went back to the game and this time the speak icon came up on Domingo. I'd tried it before and nothing happened. I'm off and running again.

Edit again: Hoo boy! I'm in the tower and there's no way I was able to draw or memorize all of those drawings that were photographed. Help!

With pleasure MaG unless you tell me I have to find all the kaleidoscope images according to the photos with numbers????

No - just 6. The clue is the number on the wall of the secret room. This took me forever.
Look for 1, 11, 4, 12, 3, 10.
Remember that there are several numbers with duplicate all over.

Thanks. I saw it last night but had to go to bed. Will work on it later today.

Now a bigger problem. I'm at the Candelas workshop and everytime I light up the fire after puting in the wood and the paper, my screen goes black and then get the usual message of do you want to sent this error...... Have tried different path of doing this, but I always get the black screen.

I'm playing from a download of GamersGate.

Before writing to them, can someone send me a save game please, if it is possible. Thanks.

I got the same. When you get the error frames, ignore it.
Click on the AGON bar at the task bar at bottom. It will continue the game. Be sure to save. There will be another error instance there in the smithy area. Then it will smooth out. Save as soon as your done there and then exit and close those error frames.

MaG, the problem is I do not get the Agon bar at the task bar at bottom.

Will continue to work on it and see.

When the error frame pops up while you are playing the screen closes and an Agon bar is seen in the task bar. Look and see.

I'm stuck on the telescope puzzle. Have gone all over town and tried (badly) to draw the various pictures, but they're unrecognizable in the kaleidoscope. Can you help?

Here's a rough info about the Kaleidoscope puzzle it might help.

Kaleidoscope: Look close at the kaleidoscope by the window.
Look through the lens and see wonderful colored prisms. These looks familiar.

There are 6 tubes of prism that can be rotated as seen inside the big chamber at side view.

There are 8 prism designs as seen when viewed through the lens for one of those tubes. There are side arrows that cycles the designs.

The tubes can be rotated using the dial on the front of the kaleidoscope. The dial's code as to where it points is based on the circle with lines below it. The lines are in wedges. One line means the first in the sequence, 2 lines wedge is the second in the sequence and so on... Turn the dial to point where the selected wedge is positioned in the circle.

Kaleidoscope puzzle: The aim of the puzzle is to select a specific design for each of the 6 tubes to be done in sequence.

The designs to be selected are taken from all the pictures of tiles with numbers and design seen throughout the game.
The sequence of the design to be entered in the kaleidoscope is based on the clue left by WK on the wall of the secret room in the sewer: 1 - 11 - 4 - 12 - 3 - 10.

After roaming throughout, note that there are some similar numbers in the pictures but have different tile design. By trial and error, deduce which one to use.



Enter the chosen design on the tube:
Turn the dial with wide tip to point to one line at the front of the kaleidoscope.
Look through the lens and cycle using the side arrows to select the correct design.
Leave the selected design and pull back.
Turn the dial (counterclockwise) with wide tip to point to 2 lines' position (as seen at bottom circle) at the front of the kaleidoscope.
Look through the lens and cycle using the side arrows to select the correct design.
Leave the selected design and pull back.
Do the above procedure for 3 lines, 4 lines and so on until all 6 tubes have a selected design.
If the designs are correct and placed in correct sequence, a click is heard and the kaleidoscope opens to reveal the codex.

OK. I've been trying this puzzle for the past couple of hours or more and I just can't seem to get it right. I'd hate to put a spoiler in this thread. Could you email the pictures that I'm supposed to be seeing? I'm positive that the kaleidoscope pictures I picked were the right ones, but obviously they're not.
