EDIT: The game has been released, my friends. You may order it today.Dear friends, I'm happy to announce that the making of our game is over. The production of the CDs has started and before long the program will be available for sale from our web page. Diamonds in the Rough is a 'traditional', 3rd person point & click adventure game. You play the role of a 20 year old American called Jason Hart. Jason is a high school dropout who works as an office boy. All that is about to change in the beginning of our story, when he is approached by a mysterious man who seems to know more about him than Jason does himself. The man claims to represent an organization that recruits people who are believed to have "special abilities". Those abilities could be telepathy, telekinesis, or other extraordinary powers. Jason has had such an ability all his life, fearing to admit it to himself, let alone others. He accepts the job offer for this organization, which is called "Diamonds in the Rough". The story begins as soon as Jason moves to a town in the Midwest, where he will be employed doing this mysterious "work". He will soon start to wonder who he is really working for, and what the purpose of the organization is. Screenshot I'd like to thank all my associates as well as everyone who believed in me. Never forget that this is a title made by a gamer for gamers.

Cathy, if you mean the Just Adventure contest I didn't make the drawing myself but yes, the results are out. They are presented in something like a game trailer.

Great news, alkis21, I'm so ready to buy this game! I don't need to read a review as I played Other Worlds with a walkthrough (which didn't make you too happy, sorry about that) but the game was too good for me to stop playing just because I got stuck. I still remember that ending! About the Atropos Studios web site, why is the lady getting ready to cut the cord and what happens if she does? (I get carried away by things nobody else seems to even notice.)

About the Atropos Studios web site, why is the lady getting ready to cut the cord and what happens if she does? Atropos is one of the three Fates of Greek mythology, the goddess of fate and destiny. The other two are Clotho and Lachesis. According to the legend, the three of them determined how long a person was going to live. Clotho spun the thread of life from her distaff onto her spindle. Lachesis measured the thread of life with her rod. Atropos cut it with "her abhorred shears". If the names and the words thread, distaff, spindle sound familiar to some of you, it's because they were used in Loom by LucasArts.

Hi alkis21, Yes, I thought that she and the name Atropos had something to do with Greek mythology, but I had no clue as to what it was, which is why I asked. I like her, but those shears did look kind of big and some wicked and now I know why! Thanks for taking the time to answer me, Alkis, I know how busy you must be.
