After being stuck in this for a week, I posted a plea for help which was answered by Texas Lady Sue and Misa and to whom I am so grateful.

Finished it today and was impressed with everything about the game, especially the voice acting and clever story and script. Although not showy or glitzy, it held my attention from the beginning.

Even the credits were interesting,it was nice to see what faces the voices belonged to.

Could anyone tell me if Chris Jones is the same person who wrote the game 'Are we there yet?' in the early days of gaming ie early 80's? Thank you

Glad you finished it! Have you played Blackwell Unbound yet? The third one, Blackwell Convergence will be out sometime this year.

(sorry don't know the answer to your question though)

Yes,I was totally chuffed, too misa! Just started Blackwell Unbound and looking forward to Convergence when it comes out.

No worries re question, perhaps someone of a 'certain age' will spot it and remember. Chris Jones is fondly remembered for many wasted hours playing his games, which were forerunners of their kind; I'm sure he's the same person.

After you finish Blackwell Unbound, check out The Shivah. It isn't part of the Blackwell series (though you will recognise one character name at the beginning once you've played Blackwell Unbound) is also worth playing and only $5. smile I'm a big fan of Dave's games as you can see.

Also while you're waiting for Convergence, check out Dave Gilbert's freeware game Two of a Kind. Gameplay is different than the other games but it's a lot of fun and it's free!

Chris Jones is the person responsible for Tex Murphy. Tex is Chris.

I just bought Blackwell Legacy. Is the Commentary (under Options) like a DVD commentary track? And what's "SPECIAL" do?

Currently Playing:
Adventure Game: Broken Age
Darkside: Star Wars: The Old Republic

Commentary is like in DVDs with a small difference. It doesn't play over the game, but pauses the game at certain points to play the commentary.

'Special' - you'll get a password for this at the end of the credits after you finish playing for the first time.

It's voice-acting bloopers.
