I think this game would be considered a casual game?

Anyway, in yesterday's Gamezebo's Friday Roundup, they linked to a great article about a game called Crayon Physics that was developed in 5 days. Watch the video on the page. It's awesome!

The developer's site is here and there is a game blog here where the game can be downloaded on the right side of the page (only in beta, I think they are working on the "deluxe" verson) different levels are also created by fans.

I downloaded it yesterday and it's free of viruses, spyware and adware. The game is a standalone game that doesn't need installing. Just unzip to your desktop, go into the "crayon" folder and double-click the crayon.exe file and the game will start.

I think it's a totally ingenious game and is a lot harder than it looks. The crayon graphics are so charming. I love it!

L4L, definitely give it a try. Even after you get through the levels (there are only 7 but some are real doozies!) it makes you want to go back and try drawing different things. It's tough for adults but I can see how it could be fun for the whole family too and educational (teaching physics).
