Hi Page. You may have to wait for a bit until someone that has made it that far is able to assist you. We didn't get that far in the game yesterday.

felix the fish?????

I've finished and I don't know what that's about!

I liked it but don't think it'll have the replayability of Prime Suspects.

please can you give me a hint for the cellarpuzzle. I love the game but I don't know what to do with the letters. I choosed for names but never did succeeded. only a small tip can be just enough. I love the idea of the diary at the end of each puzzle.

If you hold up each of the seven keys and place it in the center thingie you will get a letter.Unscramble the letters and you come up with a word. Word starts with a E. Just think _____rest.

I'm still stumped. When I hold the keys up to the center circle, I get different letters every time, and not always the same ones.

this must be randomized, because I got a different word from the one that catsmom seems to refer to.

Here's another way of looking at it

Click Here For A Spoiler1. Note the necklace. It has five red beads. If you click on a bead it will turn green and then if you spin the thingy at the center bottom of the screen will show the alphabet in the circle under the bead you have activated.

2. Note the keys. Each key has a differently shaped head. These shapes match the symbols adjacent to the red beads and circles, so the key with the sun head, for example, goes with the bead with the sun symbol.

3. Put a key in the top center box (I think it's best to start reading the symbols left to right and go in order, but I'm not sure if it's necessary.) there will be some light effects and then a letter will appear. Set the circle corresponding to the key you just used to this letter. DO THIS ONLY ONCE--if as I think the puzzle is randomized, if you re-do a key you will start another word.

4. when you have entered the letters from all the keys, you should have spelled a 7-letter word (I got "worship"--this charles was one crazy guy.) The door will open.

Good Luck

WW

Thank you all very much for your help; it's truly appreciated. I suspected that the game was randomizing the anagram but I wasn't certain. I'll give it another go.

It is randomized as I got a different word to put in. I did enjoy most of the lock puzzles, but there were about 2 that I just skipped- the one where it was a timed puzzle for sure and one other. I really enjoy the MCF games, but I agree about the replayability of this one- maybe because I know what happens to Emma now. Looks like they plan on several more in the series- YAY!

I have 2 questions about this game:

1: I am replaying the game as I went stuck at the end. is it right that you have to collect the right skeletonkeys?

2. at puzzle 6 you must open a room with a fly in a small cage. left of the fly you see a typewriter. at the bottom of the screen is a flytrap. how do I release the fly?

Hi Margaret. Yes you have to collect the skeleton keys, should be seven of them I believe.
Let me go see if I can figure out the fly puzzle. Be back after I get to it.

lady, thank you for the great help. I'll check your answer again about the fly. it's the only door puzzle that I couldn't do, only with the help of the phone, but then you lost all your hints. thanks

Margaret there is a broken wire bottom left of the screen near a wooden box, click them to repair. Move the switch on the black box above it to the left. Click on the orange button on the television. Move the tv antenna all the way to the right and adjust the vise grips to get the letters you need to type in using the keyboard. When the fly comes out, just click on him. He'll fall into the venus flytrap....click the small wheel to the right of the flytrap and the door will open.
Good luck

you can also click on the venus flytrap to make it chew up the fly and burb.

WW

PS--the letters you get on the TV are always the same (so far; I'm on 4th time through). I think they could have randomized here. I have not tried typing them in w/out doing the rest of the puzzle so I don't know if that would work.

Texaslady and Wisewomon, thank you very much for the help with this part of the game. I had worked out a part of this puzzle but I see that I missed the vise grips. now I know what to do. I hated to give up and use that telephone. all the other doorpuzzles I had solved the first time, I played this game. I love the idea of the diary after the puzzles. I play in relaxed time, as I am not a native English speaker and some items are typically English. I enjoy this game very much.
I have played Huntsville and Prime Suspects too.

thanks
