Help. I have sorted Curtis out with his library book, seen the inscription on the desk, noted that Robert & Henry were friends.
Sydelle tells me she gets on with Henry - but I cannot get him to open the door to talk to me. I cannot find the doc to give him Sydelles report, I cannot order a light bulb.For some reason I have to get the receptionist a drink & I cannot do that either. Wandering vacantly with no idea what to do next. The exits are not that clear so I may have missed a whole location.
Please can someone give me a pointer ?

Hi Jenny

To order the light bulb: have you checked absolutely every place in your apartment & clicked on this and that in the store cupboard?

No need to worry about the receptionist's drink problem just yet!

To get Henry to talk & to give Sydelle's report to doc: you do need to try combining thoughts - you use a thought as an inventory item i.e. on other inventory items, things & people!

What do you mean by the exits not being all that clear? The tab key shows all exits very nicely. I used it a lot.

DragonUK - I have tried to combine biro & paper but the game says I have nothing to write.
I still need help ! Combined lots of thoughts & gained lots of thoughts & used every thought on everyone. The barman is not interested in my thoughts at all.
Also got lots of useless items in my inventory.

Have you put your thoughts on items as well .Have you got your thought about the bulb in your inventory.Your thoughts are like another inventory put your thoughts on any thing just like you do with the items .You may get some funny replys to

Jenny, have you got a 'lightbulb' thought in inventory? - if so you need to If not you need to persevere in Jason's cupboard - it seems to be a bit picky here.

I dont understand. Grrr. I have seen its dark - pen & paper will still not write AND I thought of using that thought on Henrys door & got a sarky message.
BUT I didn't use the light bulb thought on the mailbox - our postal system in the UK is different so would never have thought of that. Maybe that'll set the ball rolling, will try it tomorrow. Thanks everyone for your help. Fingers crossed the game will work for me now.

it's easy to miss the assignment, Jenny, as it's not there to start with!

AAARRRGH. Found assignment, posted request for light bulb, chatted to doc at last, Henry says he will meet me at the pavilion & he is not there. I have wandered round & round & back to the pavilion, back to Henrys door where it says he will meet me at the pavilion where he is not waiting. I am beginning to dislike Henry.
Also the game would not let me give Sydelles report to the doc, I have a sneaky feeling I should somehow steam it open.
What should I do about Henry - he is worse than one of my internet dates ?

Hi Jenny, yes!, you've got to be nosey with the report - try thoughts. You also have to talk to Nadine.
