Does anyone know if there is a way to not have this? I even waited for the MCF Madam Fate to come out on cd. I went to the store and bought it...and still got the manager....

I just want to play the game, like the other MCF games, without the manager.

Yes, but then the game won't run. It seems like I may just be "fated" to not play the game.

Are you sure? I believe I have run the games without when it becomes corrupted and then a new one pops up when you download a new game.

Why won't you allow it to be if it works on your computer? I know you had past issues with running the games, but if the new manager works and the games run, isn't that great?

If you really want to run it without I guess you will have contact BF support and see if they can help.

Yep, I'm sure. I removed the manager and tried the game and it wouldn't play.
The game manager is just not a good thing for me...even this "new" one has problems. So I still do not play any BigFish games except the old MCF's that I bought the cd of.
I did try to go thru BF support, again, and appearantly I have a knack of finding the bad apple of the bunch when I try to get help...

A new game manager was released just very recently within the past day or so (version 1.1.0.22) so maybe this one won't have problems for you?
