Dear friends,

After considering the feedback from several clients who were reluctant to include their personal information when creating an account in our e-shop, we decided to make the "Date of Birth" and "Phone Number" fields optional.

However, unfortunately the "Date of Birth" field cannot be made optional due to the script we use, therefore we included this line:

If you do not wish to enter your date of birth, please enter 01/01/2000.

We hope this solution is satisfactory enough. Let me know if you have any questions.

What will happen to date of birth information given before this change was implemented .... Can it be altered to 01/01/2000 ??

I did try accessing my account to alter it myself but but I couldn't find a tab labelled "Your Account" or Your profile" on the Home Page.

The "your account" link is actually Jason's avatar at the top of the screen (a small puzzle)

You can change your birth date by:

-Entering your username & password in this page

-Clicking on "View or change my account information"
