While we are waiting, in his grave, Samuel Beckett is rewriting Waiting for Godot into Waiting for Jody. Bernard

"I've been waiting, such a long time Looking out for you But you're not here" We're waiting a long time for Jody now, let's play a little quiz! Of which song are the above lyrics a part? The name of the singer has to be given too. This is a screen shot of which adventure? Remember, there's nothing to be gained this time! The moment Jody is back here, she takes over. Bernard

Wow Shany, I didn't expect that one to be guessed so soon! Karsten, you're right, Johnny Logan it is. . A mailbox is just one of the "common themes" I'm afraid. Making sense of "common themes"? Nobody can do that in one lifetime! Perhaps Jody is giving us a clue by not giving a clue at all, in that case my guess would be Missing. Bernard

I had the feeling way back when jody319 posted the answer and it was correct (page 17) that the game would be stalled. Check out the stats: Registered on September 30, 2004 (!) and number of posts is 29 (!!) so what does that tell you? This is not a frequent poster by any means!

Well, yes, of course, but once a month is not that good for the Name the Game thread, now is it? That's the point I was trying to make.

Hmm, if there were only joy in the world, who would need to be brave or patient? However, one might be bored out of one's skull with so much sameness, I would think.

What doubt? I know what I know, even when I'm wrong! Are you going to wait a month while being brave and patient? About the Common Theme thread, I do lurk there a little bit, but find it too weird for my taste. Or maybe too common?

Hi sierramindy I didn't see your reply before it was edited .... but what I am referring to by "lightening up" is that the world won't stop if a member doesn't come back to a thread and post right away. It's probably just a case of "forgetting". So, good gracious, no need to make a gloomy issue out of it !! In any case, no one is "obliged" to post. You yourself have chosen not to post in a particular thread because you consider it to be weird or common but others who think quite the opposite won't condemn you for it. Cheers. Mad
