I accidently deleted my saved game files to Dream Chronicles 2 (no idea how). I managed to recover them but have no idea where they go? Can someone tell me where the file called: dreamchronicles2 is supposed to be? Thank you!

Sorry. I have no idea. I've never played it.
Maybe someone in the Casual Games forum would know.

Many newer games put their saves in a folder under My Documents. If not there look in the game's file in Program files. One way to figure it out is to start a new game. Make a save right away and see where the game filed it. You should be able to paste your recovered saves in that location.

Hmm, that's an idea, I'll do that, thank you, hopefully I can figure out where to put it because I was nearly done!

Good News: I recovered the file fully and replaced it where it's supposed to be, I confirmed this both by making a new game and also making one on my parents computer, everything matched up.

Bad News: the game won't run them, even though they are in the right place, I now get a lovely error: Access Violation 0x00000004

I've re-installed thinking it was a missing file or something, no luck. Contacted BFG but they usually take 2 days to get back to me and I really wanted to finish the game now!

*smacks head on desk*
