This chase is driving me crazy (pardon the pun) How long must I chase him before he has an accident? The longest I have been able to stay with him without crashing myself is 10 game minutes. I am playing at Senior level. Is there any tricks I can try? At this point I just want to finish the game. I spent all night,(game night) to beat the Fox and Geese game without help, but my mouse hand is cramping up trying to stay with this guy, waiting for him to crash. Please give me some hope I can finish this game.
Thanks
Jazzy

Jazzy,

I was going to offer to send you a save but I don't have one. Please hold on, I'm sure someone will come along to help you. smile wave

Hi Jazzy
This ending also drove me crazy. The way I finally ended the game was by practice. I finally figured out where the rocks and trees were. That way I did not crach before he did. Then I kept him in sight and stayed as close to him as possible (I get the feeling that the game is written in such a way that the closer you are on his tail, the quicker he will crash).
All I can say is that it can be done and luck

EDIT - TLC just saw your post - saved game can't be sent for this part of the game. The last save that can be made is before the chase starts. Same for all the other ND games - you can't save after chase scenes only before. wave

Not admitting defeat... is the beginning of the solution.
But sometimes asking for help is not a bad idea!

Hi TLC

It was the same thing for Secret of the Old Clock. That almost drove me crazy and I begged for a saved game. Sue is the one who explained to me that in a lot of ND games the ending has to be done by the player.

RAL sleep wave

This sounds like the car chase scene in Secret of the Old Clock (I think that's the right game--aha, just reread RAL's post, and it is Old Clock yay ). Anyway, as RAL suggests, I found the best way to beat this was to save just before the chase started, then note down every obstacle that you run into. You may have to go back to your save several times and start again, but you should gradually be able to recognize where the pitfalls are located--each time you'll probably get a little farther in the chase, until you finally go all the way.

It's a pain to have to keep using the "another chance" option, but as far as I could figure out, this is the only reliable way to get to the end of this game...luck
