I just saw in the instruction manual that there is a cloverleaf I can use to get more spells in the blank spaces. I also need some metal spells and have not been able to find them yet. Any suggestions?

You get metal spells from the blacksmith in Monagham.

I believe there's only one cloverleaf - it's in a locked chest in town hall in Tiralin. Have you been there yet?

Yes I have but I didn't find a cloverleaf. Could it be the game I have to play in one place there?

I'm back! A good time was had by all.

Did you go into the locked room at the City Hall? You got the key from the Fairy fight with the Elf by the huge waterfalls. He has all Ice Fairies to fight. The only place to play a game in is the Tavern which is over by the Inn where the Elves who sell spells and spheres are.

Where are the huge waterfalls. Haven't found them yet.

Can't play too much today. Had my eye surgery this morning and it kinda hurts, also patched.

Ouch. Hope it feels better soon.

The huge waterfalls are located beyond the last screen in the Fairy Garden. Go to Endeva and go to The Cottage. Then go to the last screen where the Thunderstorm Dwarf is on the left behind a prickly bush and the last Forest Owl is to the right. Go up the ramp to where the big rock was (assuming you blew it up). The waterfalls are in there along with another entrance to the Dark Caves. The elf is over on the right side of the falls.

Hi guys. Question. Where do I get ice spells? Got the cloverleaf. That helps some. I am trying to level up one Ice fairy and one metal fairy. Lets see, Greez <Ice> is leveled up to 26 and Gigzrex <metal> is 38. So I still have some to go yet. The rest of my fairies are above 40. Onward and upward!!!!!

Bets

Oh yeah. Got the patch off and it looks like someone socked me in the eye. Ick. Gotta put med drops in 4 times a day.

I'm thinking the only place you can get Ice spells until you go down into the Shadow Realm is from the seller in the catacombs in Tirilin.

Remember you can evolve your Metal Fairies with the Tools of the Dwarves...

You're getting there! Hope the eye is feeling better...

Whew, came close to winning that tough fight. Just not quite good enough. Got all but one fairy.

Don't know if I will get to it tomorrow. Have friends coming over and a choir rehearsal at 11. Got some housecleaning done and Bill will vacuum, I hope.

Hey Drac, can you give me some suggestions for this fight. I can't seem to reload fast enough and can't see my bulls eye for aiming because of all those fairies coming at me at once.

Hoo, boy, kiddoe. The short answer is no. This is a bugger of a fight and the only thing I can say is take in your best fairies against Blumella and her crew and keep at it. I can't tell you how many times it took me to finally win this one the first time I played this game.

Maybe someone else will have a suggestion!

Not really. I just read through the archives in January of 2002 when I played the game the first time - what I used for that fight and until the end were:
the stone guy, the Boneria nature fairy, a metal fairy with two dwarf tools metamorphosis, the V energy fairy (Violetta?), and the tinezard. All but the energy fairy were as high as they could go.

Well, maybe I will go get my Boneria. She is leveled up as high as she will go. Maybe try some others also.

Can't hurt to try different fairies. However, a lot depends on what spells each has.
When you find yourself bewitched by a spell, be sure and move your keystrokes in the opposite direction than you usually would and you can proceed with the fight.
