Lost in the Arizona Desert
I just had to give credit to an outstanding on-line game seller.

I ordered The Lost Crown and noticed that it said awaiting product. I sent an email to Dave and he responded within an hour, (which amazed me) and said that he was out but would have more in on tuesday and could I wait, and if not, I could cancel.

With outstanding service like that of course I can wait and responded to that affect. Not only that but I will order all my games from him if he has them. bravo bravo

Nice to get good service in this day and age.

I know what you mean about Dave being a breath of fresh air in this day of take the money and run atitude from salers.I ordered a game from Dave on a Monday and by Saturday of that week it had not arrived. I wrote Dave of this development and in a matter of minutes he responded by saying that if it had not arrived by Monday orTuesday of the following week he would send out another.....now that is what I call first class service.

Yeah, he's good. I ordered one used game and pre-ordered an unreleased game. I said that he could hold on to the used game until the pre-ordered one arrived, ship them both together. He responded right away. Turned out the used game I ordered was the European import and he was out but he had the US version (new) and is holding it for me, for same price.

You might be interested to know that before this service, Dave ran a store called Interact in Pasadena, CA more than 10 years ago that I went to frequently. It had a great selection of computer games and some used games as I recall. Also, you could get things like those Doom & Quake compilations in jewel cases. The store was almost beside a Good Guys electronics store and almost under a Tower Records store (the latter now bankrupt) so stopping in at Interact was part of my trip to the record & electronics stores! smile BTW: I didn't know Dave at all then, but he confirmed that that was his store.

I have to agree, Dave is great.

It used to be a bit of a worry ordering games from the US, sometimes they would take months to arrive, not any more, my copy of the lost crown arrived in 6 days and that included a w/e and a bank holiday.

I also ordered 2 copies by mistake and Dave e-mailed to check, I have no worries ordering overseas these days, I have complete ease of mind with Interact:)

bravo What a great gent - and he does not take advantage of UK people - one company charges as much in postage as the game ! Dave charges a fair rate, he contacts you if there is a problem ( once I forgot to update my credit card details ) and the games arrive quickly & in tip top condition. What more could we ask ?
EDIT Catsskeg, I adore your avatar. It it your cat ?
