Help! I cannot give my sand dab to the angler. I don't see why not.

This is what the WT says: Go inside the hut and talk to Major Goodmorning and then give the sand dab to angler.

Did you talk to Major Goodmorning?

Yes. I have also talked with the prince. I have also found the drum and realize I need a new skin.

edit: After talking with Major Goodmorning I then talked to the anglar. Then I was able to give him the sanddab and other items.

I should have know to talk to him first.
